Ensuring Safety Every Step of the Way
When laying or handling Concrete, Screed or Mortar, care must be taken to avoid contact with skin as due to the alkaline nature of cement it can cause skin irritations and burns.
Suitable protective clothing should be worn at all times when using concrete such as:
Protective glasses
Waterproof protective gloves
Long trousers
Wellington boots
Knee pads or impervious mat
It is the customer’s / buyer’s responsibility to ensure that anyone handling / laying concrete is informed of the risks and that they are wearing the appropriate clothing.
